Fragmented Conversations  /  Paper Pulp (made from found material) and Fabric Weaving, Wood Support, Concrete/  2016

The textures and rhythms of manual weaving and paper making, irreducibly physical, saturated with an almost spiritual significance are unravelled and recomposed to reveal their underlining structure. The deconstructed weavings each an elegiac sign of loss and damage, to define a minimal, but no less undeniable, distance and damage. Here meaning is a material process, juxtaposing time and place, damage and recovery and the continuous process of fragmentation and metamorphosis.
